For the first time in three years we have spent the last few weeks traveling. We trecked around in South America, visiting loved ones, looking for inspiration and searching for new products to bring to our Brooklyn shop.
From the wavy Northern pampas of Argentina where the Parana river runs mightily to the Andean highlands in Peru, we have brought back stories and the memory of experiences that have impacted us in great ways. We have visited places charged with ancient natural forces, where people live according to the simple ways of Nature and their everyday lives have a natural rhythm that does not conflict with their environment. The strong sense of community is what we noticed made a difference in their well-being. Hoping we can translate those experiences into our Brooklyn place, and offer you all what we imagine will be conducive to experience a real feeling of belonging where you are. For a while we have been dreaming of creating a place where the Tea community can gather to share time and space, meet each other and exchange stories about their lives and compare notes on the seasonal teas from The new schedule of offerings in our tea room will include a variety of experiences around Tea created around the way that different facilitators offer their own way of tea appreciation: workshops, tastings, ceremonies and informal gatherings created around Tea and the community it naturally builds. A diverse assortment of facilitators will host experiences and events on a regular schedule for you to choose, try and identify with them, week after week. Because our aim is to strengthen our community, to share and plan together for more ways to communicate and grow, we welcome all suggestions and ideas that come from you so we can implement events and programs dedicated to build up our lives.
